Thoughts on my watch collection?

I recently got my hands on some watches that belongs to my father. They mean a lot to me because a part of my father's life and memories have been engraved into them. I also love the fact that my father acquired these watches purely based on what he loves. It's nice to know that he doesn't buy watches for investments.

That’s a lot of what the love of these watches is all about. Not about the dollar amount spent on them or how rare they are but about the story behind them and what they mean to us. That is so cool you got those from your father. They each have their own story and went through so many life experiences with him and now you.

Wonderful to have timepieces to remember the times you spent with your father. It's a beautiful collection that you can continue to build on for the next generation.

Really an interesting collection that showcases your father's taste. He clearly has his personal style that is not overly concerned about what is fashionable in the watch world, and the result is a collection with personality. In particular, those Chronoswiss you do not see everyday here on watchcrunch.

out of these watches the first Chronoswiss particularly captures my attention. Is this a jumping hour?

I'm jealous of some of your pieces too 😅

Gorgeous… especially the blue Breitling (Chronomat?) and the Chronoswiss Retrograde. Absolute pillar pieces and can never fault something when theres a family connection there

·

Great collection, the Chronoswiss looks amazing 😍

Looks like your Dad was on point with his collecting.  Enjoy!

Chronoswiss and Casio. Truly a man for all seasons. I can't knock a Tag with that wave bracelet either. I hate to sound all dirty, but what is visible on the back of the Chronoswiss models?

Its an open case back showcasing a beautiful movement. I particularly like the logo engraving and the finishing in the automatic rotor.
