Suggestions for a high contrast dial

Hi,

This is my very first post here. I have been looking at the forums for a while and today I decided to join.
I have been collecting watches for at least 15 years. My current collection is full of black dial watches (GMT Master, SKX, Seiko 5) so I am looking for something different. I like high contrast between the dial and the hands and that kind of explains why I have mostly divers with black dials.
I am looking for a white or orange or yellow dial with black or some dark tone colored hands. I have very slim wrists so I need the lug to lug to be under 48mm (my GMT Master is close to my size limit). It can be quartz or mechanical. Price between 300 and 1k USD is my ideal range. Thinner profile would be great, but not a hard requirement.
Here is a watch (Helm Komodo) I really like, but it has been sold old for a long time. A smaller watch similar to the Komodo is what I am looking for :-)

Thank you.

That lug to lug isn’t impossible Chris Ward’s C63 Seslander is about 43mm and so long as you get it without the bracelet it should match your budget requirements.

I’ve got one of their C60 Sapphires that will also do the job so long as you don’t get it on a bracelet.

I know the white hands aren’t what you want but they have other colour options.
If you want to stick to divers the Orient Kamasu comes under budget. I really like mine but again they do other colours.

Otherwise Dan Henry’s new 1975 might work though I’m not certain about the lug to lug in that one.

Good luck.

My personal vote is for a Doxa Sub 200 in yellow.

@Matt84 Those are great options. The Orient is a great value, but I think it is not very far from what the SKX already offers. The CW looks cool, I will check its dimensions. The DH color scheme is exactly what I am looking for so it is a good candidate for sure.
Thank you!

@JapanExclusive This Doxa checks all boxes. I had totally forgot about that one.
Thank you!

@Unholy So many great options on Farer web site. I didn't know they had so many variations. The pilot watches look great. This one in particular:

I second all the Farer dials, especially the GMT. I’d try to see one in person, they’re stunning.

I just strip the movement out and hand paint the tips of the hour and minute hands a bright color like candy apple red. The Certina I just got will get that next.

There are few dial options with a contrast that can beat either a yellow dial with black hands or a white dial with black and red hands.
