Which would you choose and why?

Can’t afford both. Love the look of both. Which would you choose and why?

The Cartier, I have a speedy already.

·

I would go with the speedy. Great looks, moonphase is my favourite complication, a better more complicated movement that's Metas certified and an overall more versatile watch than the Cartier that even tho it's a chronograph it's still looks like a dress watch.

·

Go with the speedy. I have the blue side of the moon - aventurine. You wont regret it.

Love this watch! But the adventurine is just too much for me - I can’t take the sparkle 😂

I had the same thought process. Objectively speaking the omega has much better innovation, movement, complications and certifications. The Cartier movement whilst is an in house movement, it’s been around for the last 10 years.

However it’s rather unique in that it still manages to look like a dress watch with the hidden chronograph pushers.

Ugh, for the second day in a row I must choose a Speedmaster. As much as I don't care for it, it knows what it is (a clunky tool watch from the 60's) and has generally stayed faithful to that. I can say no such thing about that Cartier.

·

Of those , the Speedmaster.

Tho I'd go for a non-chronograph version of the Santos over both of those choices. The Cartier just looks odd with subdials.

·

I’d go with the Cartier - love the design.

·

Cartier because I don’t currently own a Santos.

Hand forced...

Very different styles but my taste is definitely with the omega. A lot more watch for your money. I really like Cartier but ultimately they are a fashion brand. Omega make serious watches. Just my opinion don’t want to offend anyone.

·

The Speedy. The Cartier just looks too fancy for me, even though I know its aviation roots as a tool watch, etc. Also, Roman numerals 👎🏻

·

Santos

·

omega because more respected watchmaker, circular and has a great bracelet

·

The Santos is my choice.

·

Speedy ... More butch, less prone to scratches. I would wear it more often and not care as much about banging it against a doorknob.

·

Very different in style…depends when and how you’d want to wear them I guess. Personally I’d go for the speedmaster…if I could afford it

·

Santos for me , just my preference!

·

I own both, but different models. If I had to part with one it would be the Speedmaster. The Santos is so different than anything else in my collection.

·

The Cartier.

Because I do not have one yet. I do have a Moonphase Speedy albeit mine is blue.

·

I own a DSM Speedy and 3 different Santos models but must admit neither of these watches appeal to me. Santos without chrono functions and Speedy without the moonphase would be my choices. If I must choose: Speedy with the Moonphase because I love the useless complication.

·

My brother has both. Having handled his, I vote Cartier.

·

It would be the Speedy..I just am not a fan of Cartier...JMO

·

Really tough decision…

·

Contentious. The speedy although a great watch doesn’t sing to me but the Cartier does. A Santos will be my next watch.
