How do you split your watch rotation?

Curious to hear how everyone is wearing their collection and rotating watches. If your option doesn’t show up, feel free to comment!

Right?! I’ve done 1 watch for a week, and I like it because I really get the feel for it in every situation. But I struggle with 1WC haha

·

I did try to be strict on rotation with each watch getting it's day in turn, but it doesn't work, it's meant to be a pleasure not another bit of admin!

·

I like to stick with one for a week - most of mine are quartz so it doesn't really matter too much, but it just means when I do go mechanical I feel like I've got my money's worth from setting it!

(My husband, however, has been known to change his a couple of times a day!)

·

Voted A but in reality I often switch during the day, like wearing one to the office and changing to another when I come home.

·

I do not have any plan or schedule, just picking a watch somewhat fitting to my outfit. It could be a different one daily, or the same watch for a longer period if it fits.

·

Mines completely irregular - whatever I fancy that day. Sometimes as many as 3 in a day, sometimes one watch for a few weeks. 😋

·

I tend to usually wear a watch that voices in my head are the most vocal about at the start of a day

·

It's all about what I'm doing and wearing that day. A little about mood. Sometimes I will wear the same for a few days while other weeks I'll wear a different watch every day. Change the sweater, end up changing the watch.

·

I'm between A and D.

Usually change every day (even twice a day because I change it when coming back at home or if I'm making some gardening or tinkering go with the G-Shock)

But sometimes I keep the Farer or the Citizen on the wrist for two or three days. Rarely for more except on vacation away from home.

Most of what I own are tool pieces with a few delicate and dressier exceptions. I am a home health/hospice registered nurse so for me it’s got to be one of field or divers for work. Lately I’ve been trying to just wear one watch for the week. That’s been kind of fun; looking forward to going into the safe at the end of the week is sort of like going shopping again. Not really but sort of for those that get me.

·

I'm 3-aday guy!! If I'm feeling fidgety or anxious due to overtime in any kind of racing, hockey or just strap happy I do more. 24hr of Le Mans this weekend so the box is going to be busy 😎 Cadillac, Glickenhaus and Corvette for the wins!!! Heard it here first🍻

·

I use two a day .

I thought I was weird for doing this compared to people who use one watch for a majority of the week. Good to know I’m not alone lol

·

I like to keep it a bit loose but make sure I wear them all. I wear each one in a not-so-strict rotation, each for 8-10 days. By the time I get close to getting around them all (currently 7), I can't remember which one of 2 or 3 is the "oldest", so I just pick the one I want.

·

Usually its mood, but for the last two weeks its either been the Timex Type 62 or its modern homage/re-issue. Not worn a quartz for this long in many years.

Now that I respect!

·

I wear whatever takes my fancy on any given day. I don’t have a rotation as such.

·

I change watches once a week. Sunday evening. I'll also clean it. Just wanted to say it's been great to join this community. I love watches and have absolutely no one to talk about it with, so this is nice.

Do you clean it with water once a week, or just a dry cloth?

·

I intentionally choose a watch to wear for work Mon-Fri. Helps me from taking an hour choosing which one I want to wear everyday haha.

Weekends, just depends on what I’m doing out to dinner, sports, swimming etc.

If it's steel, yes. That being said, I have 9 watches in my collection, so everything goes about 2 months in between cleanings.
