What do you choose first, shirt/outfit or watch?
Last week, I was getting ready for my sister's birthday lunch. I said to myself I was gonna wear my automatic diver watch, so it gets some winding. Then, I saw a shirt I hadn't worn in a while. And then, I thought this would go well with the strap on another watch. I'm curious now about other's habits. ☺

I match straps to belts and shoes during the work week. I wear a tie most days. Occasionally, I will match a tie to a dial or strap. The suit or slacks dictate the shoes. The shoes dictate the watch. So, I guess clothes come first.

depends on my mood, my outfit is dictated on what watch I want to wear most times…
I answered A. But then, when I look at my overall trend since June, especially during 1WC, twas the watch that dictated what I wore. This includes my just concluded beach vacay -- my diver chose the clothes I brought. 🙃
The only time I match is when I have a stainless steel bracelet,in which case I wear these .
I don't "match" as that is for women. I coordinate, and even then I'm generally just making sure the formality levels aren't clashing. But when I care beyond that, it's a tossup which item is considered first.
Normally clothing comes first. Regarding the watch I don’t need to be spot on. I try to coordinate style of watch and strap & belt but I’m not a fundamentalist.
