My New Swatch: 80s party vibe

I got this watch a month ago so I can't really tag it as #NWA. I initially wanted to do a #review but I just wanna focus on subjectivity.

When Swatch came out here, I was a college student, and all I remember was that it was the coolest thing to have at least one of the MANY designs they would come out with.

The 80s for me were about great friends and fabulous music. Most of the hair and fashion, I would rather leave behind. Maybe, just keep the Levi’s 501s and Ralph Lauren Polos.

I surprised myself when I opened my birthday gift last September because I liked it when I first saw it.  It looked like it would be big on my small wrist, but the 41mm case size went on well. And the more I wear it, the more I appreciate it.

The strap (and case) is a translucent white but has this black strip running through it, which somehow makes it a bluish-grey shade.

The see-through skeleton case, a throwback to the original fully transparent design they had in the 80s, is a great conversation starter with non-watch-nerds in the office.

I just wanna say that I'm having so much fun with this watch, that I'm considering getting a mullet and a Members Only jacket.

Swatch has my attention. Again.

Oh no. It's happening again. Try to reload the post from time to time. I really don't know why it does that.
