echo/neutra Cortina 1956 3H

Hi friends, I saw this watch on this app a few weeks ago and loved the look of it. I went to the website and signed up for email alerts when it was available again. Well, the email came today and they’ve restocked.

In the interim, I’ve exhausted the inter-webs trying to find a meaningful review of the watch with no success.

Does anyone have any experience with this watch or brand that could provide some insight? Thanks in advance!

Wow, I have to see how much that is so I can admire it from afar! Seriously, that's a gorgeous watch, I have to check it out...

Reminds me of a Blancpain for some reason.

$750 USD… in line with the Baltic and other microbrands but this one… it does something for me.

Yeah, it does something for me too and I immediately went to their site. $750 would be the most I've spent on a watch and shouldn't do that right now - too many upcoming vacations. Still, thanks for putting it on my radar! Just a stunning piece.

Good points! I don’t dive so the 100M doesn’t bother me… the fixed bezel kind of does. That’s why I’m looking for reviews, to see how it wears in real life.

My ADHD and OCD are battling over the bezel… ADHD says, “but the clicks!”, the OCD says “Yeah, but the 12 and 6 are always perfectly aligned!”. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t have that particular watch nut I’ve got the Averau 39 Big Moon and the build quality is top knotch.

Their big moon field watch still fascinates me.

I've nearly pulled the trigger on one of these a few times since they were released. But I've ended up with its sister the Averau, and it's a solid well made lovely watch. So I haven't any experience with that model but the brand make great watches.

Yes I di. I have the exact watch!

My wife bought it for me about two m9nths ago as a present.

It’s absolutely gorgeous! It looks great and the strap ( 2 in the box) is great on the wrist.

Downside, yes difficult to read in dull lighting, but worth it.

People do comment on it. I have about 18 watches, and it is certainly in my top 5

Further to my last reply, I have one. The 2 peaks at 12 noon represent the alps. Remember this watch commentates the 1956 Italian Winter Olympics. Also, time keeping spot on. Go on, you know you will, buy it! John

I have been eyeing the Cortina 1956 Chrono for what feels like years now. Some day… I’ll pull the trigger. It just looks so good!

·

I just got a brand new 1956 chrono in a trade. Hadn’t heard of the brand before, but was blown away by the quality and feel.

The vintage Chrono styling isn’t for me, unfortunately, so I’ll probably list it up for sale at some point.

I've been potentially looking for an Italian designed watch to replace my Giuliano Mazzuoli Manometro . . . i've come to realize that it is just too large for me sadly. And this brand has been checking off some boxes.
