Main differences I got from skimming through the article with the current blue model.
60 on the dive bezel instead of a pip (for the 60th anniversary, not really referencing an earlier model)
Lollipop second-hand referencing a seamaster from 1959
Aluminum bezel
Special case back with James Bond on it
The bracelet obviously
The shade of blue
The wave dials are closer together
No Date
Other than the James Bond on the back of the watch, the only other references to Bond I see here is the shade of blue similar to the first Bond Seamaster and the fact that the bezel and dial are aluminum. I personally would have liked to see some more call backs to the first James Bond Seamaster.
EDIT: Forgot to say, it is definitely a pretty watch, and you can get the original Bracelet on the side. Personally not sure I would pick this over the current production model, but I can see a rich James Bond fan being into it. It's definitely pretty

Meh. Looks very 90s. Don't like the looks of this Wave Dial. The Standard SMP300 Dial looks way better. Also, 8400€ on a milanaise strap? Seems pretty expensive. Unless i'm missing something here? Standard 210.30.42.20.03.001 looks way better and is only 6000€.
Also, i do like the NTTD SMP300 very much looks wise.
“Another Rolex? Probably. They were on the heavy side, but they worked. And at least you could see the time in the dark with those big phosphorous numerals”.
Not sure when the "News" section of WatchCrunch will update, however Fratello has an article covering this watch.

It'll be 7K CHF.

I didn’t even remember we have news section here.
I feel like we need to ask James if he is a date or no date kind of guy. I feel like he would be pro-date. At least, I want him to be pro-date.
I think it looks great. Maybe 38mm version next time ?? 😅😅
Love the blue looks beautiful. 👍
This is cool but without the pip at 12 where is the laser going to come out of?
Besides I already have one anyway
Agree with you for all the pro points and the alu bezel as con.
Blue is... okey (I'd prefere the NTTD-color over this).
The wave pattern: at first glance: 🫤, but I start to love it (actually over the current SMP).
But still not sure if I'd go for the NTTD over this for the price of 7-8k
Looks great, I might try and procure the bracelet for my blue one.

Yours is nicer I think, I used to have one and always love the colour on the second hand and some text on the dial . The waves look better too.
I really wish I hadn't sold it now. Probably will get a black dial one day. Which was the one I should have got first time round.
