Congrats on the upcoming degree! I own both (PRX mint green quartz and the 5 GMT exactly as pictured). The mint green has a textured dial which adds a dimension of class especially for the money. The Seiko 5 is a great piece for the money as well, Seiko put alot into this watch for the price point. I think the decision comes down to your personality. Casual everyday piece, Seiko 5 GMT. Want to class it up on a regular basis, PRX. Overall, I would pick the Quartz PRX in mint green if I could only pick one
