Seiko Bottle Cap

any love for the bottle cap?

really enjoying mine on this sunny day. I think its one of the last great Seiko 5 sports models of old. The quirky affordable ones with the shield logo, which I prefer more than the more lukewarm new Seiko 5's. I think its my favorite Seiko 5 sports model ever. So unique and wears great on the wrist. also considering getting the stainless steel bezel version before stock runs out.

I've been tempted but just a tad too big for me.

Great looking watch though.

the maxi dial with large indices is just great, and somewhat uncommon on a Seiko. How large is your wrist? in terms of lug to lug it sits just fine on my 6-1/2 inch wrist. Aesthetically not a small watch though, and the narrow bezel makes the dial look quite large

7 1/4 inch wrist. I do have some larger watches ( Seiko Arnie), but I like to stay in the sub 42mm case size and a max. of 50mm lug to lug.

I’ve disliked divers I’ve tried so far, because I feel that the bezel eats up too much of the dial face. I’ve never seen that one before. What’s the case diameter?

I'm a fellow bottlecaper! Great to see another fan on here. Super cool watch, and not as common as other Seiko's. The stainless look amazing too, went back and forth. But I'm considering it as well.

Now I'm just waiting on new straps to up the look even more.

Same for me! This is one of the reasons I went with the bottle cap. Case diameter is 45mm but wears smaller.

like you said, it is so unique. And I never thought I'd say that about a seiko 5.

Bottle caps of the world unite! A unique and fun watch to wear. Glad that it uses the 4r36 instead of the 7s36 movement that is found in some Seiko 5 sports models.

we've got 3 of the 5 variants in this post already, they are all so cool! i'd be ok with the 7s26 but 4r36 is very nice in this watch

The stainless looks so rugged yet refined! The more I see it the more I want to pick one up.
