This is my first time purchasing a homage watch, and I have explained in a previous post why this particular one. The long and short is I love the Seiko Tuna case and shroud but I prefer an automatic movement.
Today I received 2 Heimdallr Tuna homages with Seiko NH35 movements. I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. On the watches I received, the crown and bezel action are all comparable to something from the Seiko prospex line. The ceramic bezel insert is crisp and perfectly aligned. They look and feel great. I really can't fault them in any way. If I were to nitpick, the only thing is the blue glare of the AR coating (sapphire crystal) is a bit much. All in all I paid the equivalent of 290 USD for both these watches. For what I paid, I not only can't complain but feel this is one of the best value watch purchases i've made.

The San Martin homage i've just received is only slightly more expensive, but definitely a class above. My favorite of the Tuna homages
