Under 2k GMT?

Looking for a GMT under 2k that has some refinement. Many GMTs I find the designs lacking or dimensions poor. Is there a better option on the market than this Christopher Ward Dune GMT? Looking for white/black dials, sapphire crystal, under 41mm, not 14mm thick, etc

Lorier Hyperion is waaaay under that price tag and is 10.7 mm w/o crystal, 12.7 with.

Granted it is acrylic.

Looks pretty refined to me, check out @chronografan , he has some FANTASTIC pics.

The Lorier looks great but am a little sketched out with the acrylic. Im looking at getting a 50% travel job and not sure if it would hold up, they are also sold out and would have to buy second hand

CW Sealander GMT comes in 36 and 39mm. Quick release bracelets with micro adjustments.

I am looking in the same market and the Dune is definitely very high up there, also Farer's gmt Landers series and the new Seiko GMT Alpinist, but in the last few years the choice for affordable gmts (with a sapphire crystal and a good movement) is so wide.

I've run mine pretty hard, like harder than some would feel comfortable with wearing an auto through, held up fine.

Polywatch cleans up any swirls/scratches easy enough.

Acrylic scratches easier, it doesn't shatter/break easier.

Here's my Neptune SIII, worn it the most of all my stuff, fall of '21 was purchase date.

Downside is yes, not in stock. The Hydra is, but wasn't the style going for.

After seeing them in the #microtournament I'd look at Monta too.

Can't go wrong with CW tho.

Not sure if these are still open for order, but during the tournament I zeroed in on the Traska Venturer. I just popped over an it looks like the order window has closed. I loved the internal 24hr bezel on this one.

Im a bit shaken up on internal bezels after getting an alpinist and the slightist bump on the crown would move the bezel…

Thanks man 😁 I would say the Hyperion is pretty robust and Acrylic has been used fot decades. It wont chunk or shatter like sapphire and scratches can be buffed on the fly with a dab of polywatch. But I haven’t had any scratches on my acrylics yet tbh.

Check out Gavox! Full disclosure, I own a Longitude and love it.

I have the Dune (non GMT). I've been very impressed with its overall quality. Christopher Ward makes great watches. It also has a 5 year warranty. You can't really go wrong with CW.

I just received my dune GMT a month ago now (I think). Given your criteria, I think dune GMT definitely is a strong contender, but like many people pointed out here, there a lot of other options that fits your criteria. I think the important question is if you like the looks of it.

I don't own high end watches but so far the CW bader bracelet is the best bracelet for me. I only have experience with full metal gshock and Seiko bracelets for context.

This brand and its GMT watches were a strong pick for me but in the end I picked up the Lorier Hydra S3. For me, it’s hard to ignore just because of eyebrow raising value proposition it offers.

This watch looks amazing though. Great choice!
