For me it depends on the strap for a dress watch, sometimes a bracelet or a mesh bracelet or even a sailcloth strap can look great, just never a NATO. And for dressing up it depends more on the form of the tool watch, how bulky it is. And a field watches can flex both ways, in my opinion.
I am looking in the same market and the Dune is definitely very high up there, also Farer's gmt Landers series and the new Seiko GMT Alpinist, but in the last few years the choice for affordable gmts (with a sapphire crystal and a good movement) is so wide.

My family used to live out in India, (parents were teacher trainers) and my dad always used to buy watches, but also quite a few fake watches, some of them were brilliant weird things, often with some local coustom stuff done. He had quite a collection from these small sellers!

Honestly I am now of an opinion that a watch can almost never be too small, especially on a leather strap, as it just looks closer to vintage or dressy.
Huge fan I hope to pick one up as a wedding watch, love the idea of a watch that ages with me, especially from a moment like an engagement, Oris would be my go to or CW's Dune.
I really like the watch and have love the designs of Studio Underdog. But for me trying to keep to a low number of watches, when it comes to field watches, I want it to be a little more dressy and to be able to be worn at a do and on a mountain, like the Baby Alpanist. Plus at this price point it is competing with the Alpanists and Hamiltons.
Gorgeous collection 🔥🔥 close to my dream set of watches with all those Seikos and that Oris. For the next one maybe a different material, like a bronze watch or a fun micro brand option like a CW or Farer for colour.
