I wonder what it would look like under the Nordic spring sun; would the gold be yellower? 😉 Maybe you could send it here and I could take a couple of shots? 🙏

The gold is very pale- probably would not look good under that type of sunlight, you might need to come to Chicago instead 🤣
I hear you- the yellow gold on the 222 has a lightness and matte brushed finish to it which really sets it apart from other “in your face” gold tones 🙌
The oddity is that the 222 sold very poorly and faded into obscurity without notice. When Vacheron was revitalized, the Overseas Gen 1 was made with very similar design language, and that watch failed to catch on as well. The market is quite fickle!

I haven’t had it for a year yet but I think it will end up being pretty close 🙌🙌🙌
Stunning piece.
Grail watch!

Dream piece!
Either this or an AMERICAN 1921, someday....

I’m not a big fan of gold watches but this one is the exception. Absolutely perfect. I mean. Perfect. One more time.
Perfection.
Seriously just perfect. I hate you 👌❤️
A gold watch with a ubiquitous design. Can this not waft of image in the most obscene fashion?

Perfection is often lamented so I totally understand! 😅🙏

I try not to waft often but when I do it’s generally in an obscene fashion and with this watch on my wrist 🫶

Of course there's a bad angle: not having it in my wrist
It’s not cheap fix but there is a remedy for that 😅🙏🙌
Er, I think your right.
