Devon ''watches'' anyone?
This is the weirdest thing I came across in a long time.
My facebook algorithm decided to show me this weird ass watch.
Has anyone had the experience of trying/owning one of these?
I found them trough facebook for around 60$...It ain't much, but it could be a good conversation piece 😂
And also if it's good for ironman ...
...who am I to doubt them 😜
I see you Crunchers are a lot more open minded about trying no name and new brands ,than the guys on my countrys forum so maybe one of you knows more...

Just a quick heads up, the Devon tread 1, which is displayed in the picture you posted, is part of a limited collection that Devon sold at roughly 19k a watch, they have had two collections and both have sold out. So if someone is trying to sell one for $60 it’s probably a scam. I researched the Devon tread because I was interested buying one myself, that’s when I found that they were sold for 19k and up. Just wanted to give a warning, but if you want to test the waters and then go for it, because if there was a Devon tread for $60 best believe I would buy one.

That’s a big no for me. Not because it’s a scam, I wouldn’t buy the real one for $60 either. This is one of those “answering a question nobody asked” watches. Literally nobody was like “jeez, I love watches but I can’t figure out how to read those hands OR that digital display”. There’s just no upside to some novel system of time display. It’s harder to read than what we already have. As you can tell, I’m not a fan of doing something just to prove you can. So get this if it speaks to you, but I just don’t see the point.
I think Nico Leonard mentioned them one of recent videos and generally said like very innovative way to display time, but they are chunky as hell (case size and form)

WORD OF WARNING: A Google search of "Devon Tread 1 Replica" brings up listings for "Chinese Copy Devon Tread 1 Steampunk," and when I try to click on the link, my Kaspersky stops me, and says, "This certificate is not from a trusted domain." Which means one thing: MALWARE. Stay away from those sites.

Devon, like Richard Mille, are technological marvels but very much an acquired taste. I'd sell a RM in a heartbeat, but I'd consider keeping a Devon. Not really my taste, but a captivating watch I'd sit and just stare at.
