I have to say, this is really tempting. Great size, compelling and original design language, under the radar yet unique. Do I *need* a world timer? Absolutely not. Do I think itโs really cool? Yep.

I am sooo in the same boat. I have a 36mm Farer GMT with this movement as a normal caller GMT, and wanted the original W00T but vacillated until it was gone. This green one is pure fire and I think worth maybe consolidating my other farer, my lorier, and my TSAO Baltimore to have the ultimate "caller" world timer.....ugh
Loving the green. I already own the Roche so canโt quite bring myself to pick this up.
Also of note is the fact that these can come with an (extra ยฃ150) bracelet option. The older models also had a retro-fitted one that was eventually discontinued -which I think, might have harmed more sales. Its a great wearing watch

And considering most other players in the world timer arena, this is very reasonably priced. Most certainly donโt *need* it - but a world timer just exudes a certain Jules Verne/steampunk-like charm I cannot resist!
I'm a little confused by their movement choice though. Sellita have been making the SW330-2 for some time now, yet Farer have got a SW330-1 modified into a worldtimer. Strange.

The reason is that the SW330-2 has an updated GMT mechanism that can't be modified in the same way as the SW330-1. So the only option was to modify the -1 and extend the power reserve. Sellita don't currently make a World Timer movement.

Ahhhh, that's very interesting, thanks for the explanation !

ordered the Roche ๐
Great choice ๐ ! The outer and inner ring on Roche is lumed ๐ฅ
I wish they copied one feature from Omegaโs world timer - different colored text for cities with daylight savings time. Itโs a very small change but so useful. Yeah, not every city in a specific time zone has DST, but itโs still handy.
Otherwise, these look great, especially for ~1/6th of the price of the Omega!
I just wish they eventually put the date at 6 instead of 3 o'clock, for the rest I find it to be one of the most interesting (and only ?) WT in the affordable price range
So maybe it's the lack of coffee this morning, but something has always confused me about these farers, even though it hasn't dissuaded me from wanting one.
Once you set the movement to your local time and the world time disc....assuming you don't move from your timezone and keep it running all is good and it's more or less synced like a caller GMT would be (you can read local time either from the normal hour hand or the 6pm reading of the GMT disc).
But if you move to a different timezone, do you need to just rotate the cities disc? or the GMT disc as well?
I blame you! I have been going back the Farer website since I saw you post this last week, watching the numbers available slowly dwindle down. Saw it down at 11 or so left for this color and just decided to do it. MY WALLET HURTS BECAUSE OF YOU IRTIQA

I really like this, and the various colours available ๐๐ผ๐ฅ

I love the new Foxe. Their worldtimers are unchallenged in my opinion, for design, sizing, and price point.
Yeah, love the new Foxe, they teased the green waayyy back in May but delayed the release from Oct 23 to now.
I'd have already bought one if it was a 40mm or larger, but at 39 it's too small for my tastes.

Cheers! Had seen the watch / Farerโs announcement before and had shortlisted it - but still a bit of an impulse / FOMO buy today ๐
Holy cow this is incredible ๐

Wow! That actually looks pretty good!
I much prefer the movement of the Omega, based off of a true GMT, but I love the price of these.
I think the Markham is still my favourite, but the new green one is great too! I'll likely wait until they reach the secondary market.
That is nice for sure!
