M&BF M.A.D.1 Green Raffle Win: Help with Swedish Customs Duties and Taxes

Hi everyone,

I'm excited that I won a spot in the raffle for the M&BF M.A.D.1 Green! However, I'm a little worried about the Swedish Customs Duties and Taxes. Can anyone help me understand what I can expect?

The watch price is 2,900 CHF.

I don't think there should be any customs duties between Switzerland and the EU (Sweden). You may be liable for Value Added Tax as Switzerland is not part of the EU VAT area. The postal service/courier may also charge you a handling fee for collecting the VAT.

Switzerland is not part of EU. You can expect a VAT add on with 25 %, on top of that a ”smaller” custom fee and an administrative charge.
