Back in the day, prior to getting my quality China made press, I used to install case backs with a rubber mallet :)
these original vintage ones from early 1990s are 20mm, the recent re-releases are 22mm. I do like my resin / rubber straps so for the minute will stick with those but thanks for the tip nevertheless, tastes and minds inevitably change
