new strap ideas?

light today was perfect to capture the world map dial on my vintage worldtimer. cheap gray nato has been reliable but not really befitting of this piece. any strap recommendations?

Dark brown leather.

The nato is OK, but takes the attention slightly away from the watch.

I think a Milanese strap would look great, but you can't go too far wrong with any strap with that watch. An ostrich strap would work well, and (for me) an unusual colour would be fantastic.

Beautiful watch!

I have a few Rochet, French brand. Can't vouch for their longevity.

I like the current look😍. Maybe go with a mesh band to step up the look without straying too far from what you have now!?!

That dial has so much character. Leather strap with silver buckle seems to be the most logical and safest choice. I’d probably go black with a pattern but alligator may seem to dressy (the nato makes me think you don’t see this as a dressy type watch which it could be). With the vintage vibe, maybe sailing relates to the old way of travelling the globe so possibly a sail cloth strap, say black Artem with grey stitch (white stitch may be too much pop and distracts) or sand beige.

very thoughtful! leaning gray calfskin hirsch but sailcloth is interesting.

Artem has a grey sail cloth strap too. The photo is hard to tell if the dial is off white with a grey or tan tone.

it’s a shade lighter than champagne just natural aging

Light brown pig skin strap for the vintage authenticity would be very nice.

Check out Delugs delugs.com they have a great variety of straps and they’re good quality. They ship from Singapore but it’s usually pretty quick.

a gray suede quick-release?
