OCD - That's me! (What to do next?)

Okay, it really shouldn't bother me that much, and at most times it's not as visible as in the picture above. Yet it is something I avoid with the watches that I build, so it bugs me when notice it in something I bought. I can sleep over it, but deep in my mind I know that I won't be able to let it be. And I really don't want to send the watch back. What would you do?

If I felt able to correct it , 100% I would fix it myself. I think that would help give a special bond to the watch too.

If you've built a watch, you know that this is not a tricky fix at all. I mean you're free to give the manufacturer a proper haranguing, but you know this is a five minute fix.

I've built quite a number of watches, it will take me about 20 minutes to correct, if I'm diligent and take my time.

But here is the point: I paid money in order not to do it. 😉

Ouch!  Yup, that'd be painful every time I glance at it.  We OCD bro 😉

Whether you go with A or B, do C anyway. It wouldn't hurt.

And done. I also regulated the watch while I was at it.

There you go, problem solved. 😉

Yeah, it was too easy, though. Now I need to think of something else to do.

Interestingly enough the chapter ring was attached to the dial, so I couldn't use a dial protector. (Not that I actually need one, but that's another OCD question.)

I guess I don't have OCD that bad but what are we looking at here? The misalignment of the minute hand?

Yes, the misalignment between the hour and minute hand. The hour hand was showing before the hour, the minute hand was already past the hour.

It technically doesn't matter, because you really track the minute hand, and there is no question which hour the watch was indicating. It's just poor form.

Between the vertical alignment of hour and minute hand, the rotational alignment between the two hands is probably what I spend the most time on while installing hands.

Oh shit now I can't stop seeing it lol. Yeah that's a bummer.  I would return that since I don't know anything about fixing or modding watches.
