The Watch that started the Modding

Okay, there are two reasons why I'm posting this.

The price tag never fails to cheer me up.

This is my first watch I started modding on, and I finally put it back together. The movement must have been in 4 different watches, and the case must have had at least three dials.

The second hand was actually quite bent, but I was able to straighten it. The keyless works of the movement got out of sync, and I had to take the movement apart to fix it. (Now the spring against the datering must be slightly out of position, but the watch works otherwise.)

In any case, I think I'm finally done modding this watch. After taking almost everything apart, I'm surprised it still runs. In that sense I'm happy.

Nice!! Orient was my gateway drug to modding.

Nice, I really haven't looked at Orient from a modding perspective. ST36, 2824 clones, NH35 and VK63 were all feasible, with vastly different parts availabilities.

How easy is it to get parts for Orient watches?
