My Itsy Bitsy Wrist Has a Huge Crush on this Watch

By now we've all heard of Christopher Ward and I am embarrassed to say, I've only looked closely a few months ago.
I went down the YouTube rabbit hole and online written reviews to give my OC-ness a chance to enjoy knowing everything that I could know about the Bel Canto.
And then, I saw on the website, this gorgeous purple sight and I am 😵
Turning to my Mr.Alex, he just shook his head, knowing telling me off would only push me to want it more 😆
He gently reminded me of my ramble yesterday, to which I gently countered "but I has a minute repeater!".
The whole craftsmanship that goes into this blows my mind and the fact that it is made available to mere mortals like me, is a dream come true.
Enough gushing about it!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. It has me smitten and the fact that it's also a gorgeous hue of purple in the dial and strap is icing on the cake!

By far the best colourway for this watch, imo.
It's very good looking, do love the purple as well, and the chiming function is impressively done, especially in regards to its price point. And Ooh look, it's a birdie! But in reality I don't think you'll ever use that complication other then to show others that it does indeed chimes. After one night of forgetting to turn it off you will quiet that bird forever...😂

See this is why I post when I suddenly fall for a new watch. It's the objective views that I miss. 😄 I do agree, I'd probably wear it, show off it can make some noise and on the off chance I forget to turn it off before I go to bed. It might be the last time it ever makes a sound 😄

I am currently very tempted to put a deposit down. And since if I evern do get one, it has to be the purple, my patience will have to last 😅
The Bel Canto is cool as hell, and complicated watches tend to be pretty big so I think dive watch sizing rules apply here. If it even slightly fits you, you’re all good
I’m probably the minority here. In photos and videos, it looks amazing. But when I finally got to see it in person, it didn’t do anything for me.
I think this watch single handedly lifted CW from the pack of micro brands. I really like all their current line but this watch is head and shoulders above them.

I was also in the minority for this and some other watches. So this is all good for me. It is healthy to hear the opinions of others. 💯

Interesting. It's one of those super hyped micro/independent watches. I thought about it, but I passed because I felt I'd be disappointed. I hope to see one one day.

I have the Cielo on order, originally set for a December fulfillment, but sadly delayed until next month. Hopefully 🤞🏻.
In my experience, the Bel Canto grows on you until you can no longer resist it's, umm, siren song ::badump bump:: Resistance is futile.
I have a smaller wrist, and the BC will almost certainly push my limit, but the reasonable L2L, height and importantly the lightweight of the grd5 Ti should make it supremely wearable. The purple dial is lovely, my wife's favorite color.

The actually time telling complication was too small, and I felt there was too much empty space, which I had never thought about until I held it in my hand.
Maybe this can be an excuse to experience it in the metal?

If you really want an attainable minute repeater in smaller deminsions and are willing to pay extra…you can get an old pocket watch minute repeater converted into a wrist watch(5 minutes repeaters we’re also available). They actually made them in ladies version as well so that’s why many can be made in smaller demensions. That will end up costing substantially more than the bel canto but is also reasonable attainable compared to the other options currently available.

Got mine yesterday and didn't turn it off but loved hearing the chime this morning. It's so fun!

My experience is that this is possibly the best “attainable” watch on the market. I was just about to put my deposit down on the purple until I found this one on eBay:
As has been mentioned, I paid a premium, but it was WORTH it! There is no other watch in my collection that elicits the same level emotion, every time I put it on. I still get a little tingle of joy every time I hear that chime 😁. My opinion is that you cannot go wrong with this watch. Hope to see your wrist shot some time soon.
