This is a tough one. The Stowa is clean and elegant with nothing wasted or added (Bauhaus). The Junghans just screams utilitarian (also Bauhaus). I pick both.

People always forget that one of the tenets of the Bauhaus was bringing mass produced goods to the consumer inexpensively. In this respect both fail this requirement, although the Junghans may be nominally less expensive. This is where a Braun fulfills the brief.
Junghans has my vote. I love Nomos but I’m not a fan of this case. Nor am I a fan of their lug lengths. Junghans however, is perfectly executed… The Max Bill is tack on imho 🤌🏻
The Stowa Antea Classic got my vote. This one is coming up on it's 7th birthday and over that time has easily been my most worn watch. I like the Junghans but would personally opt for the telemeter chrono were I to get into the brand.

I'm not crazy about Bauhaus inspired watches, but in this case, I'd go for the Nomos.
I preffer the Stowa - they had this model in 1937 , Nomos launched their Tangente only in 1992 … Anyway the original design of the dial was made by “Weber & Baral” and they sold it to Lange and Stowa in the 30’s , Nomos arrived very late to the party :)

Unfortunatly the Braun is only quartz with very poor movements (I wanted to buy one and did sime research)
It's crazy to me how much that Stowa looks like my Nomos Tangente 35mm. Down to the cordovan leather strap.
Well … if you go down the history lane and search “Weber & Baral” you will find that Nomos came very late to the party (1992) and they are doing almost an “homage watch” with their Tangente … Stowa and Lange had their similar models in the 30’s based on dials designs from “weber and baral”

Oh, it's a Stowa! I would have bet that it wa. Nomos. I didn't do zoom in in the photo. ... So, in this case, I'd go with the Stowa.

Well I do own a Max Bill and I don't own a Stowa. Does it answer the question?

so you picked your winner ! :)
The one on the right for me the left one looks like a Pressure gauge

never thought of that before, but you're right! 😮
I work in engineering ... I like it! Junghans gets my vote! 👍

good choice !

well, for presure gauges, legibility is critical ! so it should be for watches :)
Junghans Max Bill - just can't beat the icon IMO.
Junghans, of course. You can't beat the O.G.
Stowa. It does a better job at reducing the design to a minimum, the essence of Bauhaus philosophy. The Junghans is just too busy.

I’m partial to Nomos, but between these, the Junghans!

Oh yesssss
Funny, I had to look twice; I thought the Stowa was a Nomos.......Nomos would be my pick 😉

If nomos didn’t have a small seconds I would be all over their watches

The Stowa is available in a date, central seconds version as well.

On that dial design - I preffer the small seconds hand wich is closer to the original design from the 30’s

I agree, but Bauhaus concepts get diluted the higher up the luxury scale that you go.

I own a Nomos, but have been trying to justify owning a Junghans too
what do you mean ? obviously they are worlds apart ! you should definetly get a Junghans too :)
