Invicta 1953 Combat Pro

I never in a million years thought i would own an Invicta but for some reason this one spoke to me. It's a little weird because my Sumo and Speedtimer have much busier dials and bezels and in contrast this one is relatively bare. I was searching for the 3rd watch to complete my core 3 watches and i can't say this will be it but it's definitely a good placeholder... and for only $85. The clasp sucks but i can switch it out for an Uncle Seiko one and the bracelet is actually pretty good quality. I'm happy with the purchase and we'll see how it is after some wear

I don’t see to many post on Invicta watches. I mean I know they get a lot of heat for the majority of there watches and I get why even though I personally encourage and watch that someone will enjoy. Am I bias because I own invictas? Maybe but I know it’s still a true feeling. ANYWAYS

congratulations 🎊🍾🎉🎈 on your new one. One thing I think most of us can agree the make a decent entry level Watch to the mechanical end and tbh the 1953 was a home run. Really when you take a hard look at it, it’s nothing to crazy. But yet it’s just enough vintage and class design to make you want it. Especially when you see how much. It’s an unbelievable bargain. I hope you so well with it Joe. Enjoy ✌️😉

I have a Pro Diver and I give it credit for gathering my interest in automatic watches. I realize its faults, mainly poor lume and a tight bezel, but for $53 I can't complain. That 1953 has always caught my eye, though. I think if one sticks to their more restrained designs, homages and such, there's a lot of good in owning an Invicta.

Good pick. I think they used a Tudor-style case for this

Proud owner and collector of Invictas over here, especially the more standard-sized Pro Divers. Just check out my #wruw. The 1953 Pro Diver sub homage watches are some of my favorites.

Recently, I’ve started to collect some of their Swiss Made Pro Divers, which use the Swiss Made Ronda 515 movement, and I can tell you I’m impressed.

I definitely don’t go for their more garish “creations”, but I do enjoy some of their other “normal” (to me) offerings.

Yeah. It looks pretty similar to a Black Bay

A good looking watch and great value. On Amazon in the UK it's £155 ($190?)!

I have had it less than 24 hours but in my opinion so far it is worth $200. There are some corners cut but for the specs and quality feel, i would pay $200

I love that one. Nice choice :)

Love that watch!

Im not an Invicta fan, but I got to admit, this one looks really good. It's now on my list of watches to get.

That’s what I’m talking about!

Nice #invicta

I've been enjoying this watch for 2 years now. The coating is perfect so far. The lume is far from great but it was 80€ and I don't dive!

But it's 100% waterproof for pool and beach.

The only issue is have : my daughter, then myself dropped it from a table and the cristal now has two small dents. I'll wait to have more XP in modding before swapping to a domed sapphire cristal.

This is definitely a great watch. I'm trying has hard as I can but can't find a reason to pull the trigger on a Orient Black Raven at 200 €

Can't beat a good Invicta. I have 8, 1953, Grand Diver, Pro Diver x3, Venom, Sub Aqua Noma IV & Force.

I have a number of Invicta's, but this design is undefeated in my opinion!
