I don‘t think so, no… Would be surprising if they had modelled the case after an original example.

Me too, you can see it somewhere in my WRUW ;) It‘s unbelievable for the price so I have high hopes for this GS one!

Unfortunately, well fortunately for my bank account this Seestern homage of the watch just came out. I‘ve always wanted this GS GMT but since my last very bad experience with GS (I bought a White Birch brand new from a dealer and the issues with the movement and QC wouldn‘t stop… it spent more time back in Japan for service than on my wrist and when it came back I sold it for a huge loss) I’ve grown hesitant of spending big money on a GS. I bought this version of the Seestern and I think this will do for me. The bracelet is probably better than the original 😅 Still a great watch for sure but I‘m just not willing to spend more than 1k on a GS again, I think.

Bad AR coating is a big one for me. There are so many watches that would be great if they had a coated crystal. I think it makes a watch look 10x as expensive and well made if there is good AR coating.

Another one would be bad case design. Meaning cases that don‘t sit well on a wrist, hurt your wrist or sit overly high.

Oh and of course the lack of real life images on a website of a watch brand. Everyone should have a slice of CW‘s pie in that regard… I could go on and on but those are my main gripes.
