Had a rough day at work, but my Marathon was delivered. This is my first watch with tritium lume. I've got to say, it is not as bright as I expected. But I won't have to worry about charging the lume ๐
I'm thinking about swapping out the strap. Any idea?

The thing with tritium is it makes a poor "party trick", but works flawlessly for 12+ years. With Marathon you can get it serviced, and get the tubes replaced when they start to fade.
Marathon is top notch, love their stuff!
As a complete gremlin that has his lights off/curtains closed almost all the time and goes out at night as often as I'm forced to during the day, tritium is amazing for me. Regular lume watches are illegible on my wrist half the time I look at them, especially during the winter. It doesn't matter if it's under a cuff all day or if I don't leave until it's already dark out, I can always read my Marathons. You don't get to shine a light at it or marvel at how bright it is when you come inside on a sunny day, but it never lets me down when I want to read the time.
Wake up at 3am when itโs completely dark and you may think differently.
My stainless steel Navigator last nightโฆ
Welcome to the club! One thing I've learned from having tritium, it may not have the initial brightness as Lumibrite/Superluminova, however within 20-45 mins the tritium is brighter and never needs to be charged. With night adjusted vision it really shines.
I got my USAF Navigator today also, my third Marathon actually. I love tritium, it doesnโt have that wow factor that traditional lume has but that doesnโt last long. I find it most useful wearing at night when I go to bed, too check the time when tossing and turning and when I go out at night. Honestly if you are out in the dark if you donโt have a tritium watch or some sort of gshock/digital your watch is useless
Dam Iโm getting jealous might have to get a Navy one as well.
Congrats on the #marathon
