I planning to purchase a budget chrono with a mecaquartz movement.
After checking a lot of choices I have narrowed my search to a couple of options. I do not want to exceed the budget of 200€ including taxes and shipping.
Hoffman Racing 40
AVI-8 Flyboy Royal AV-4092-01
Pagani Design Dayton Paul Newman Homage
The only option that would make me exceed the afformention budget would be a Dan Henry 1964 2-subdial panda.
What are your thoughts?

Anyone?
Personally, I'd go for the AVI-8. Pagani Design is a really good value tho, but AVI-8 won because of the originality. Also, I think the AVI-8 would retain its value much better than the Pagani, since AVI-8 is much more popular.. But that's just my opinion man, buy the one that you like more! Cheers
edit: I missed the Hoffman Racing 40. After seeing the pictures, The Hoffman are very sweet! Much better than the Pagani, I think. :)

Thank you very much for your reply and insightfull comment. I am still not decided on which one to choose and checking also other options as well.
Avi-8. Looks more original than the others and I like the Arabics.

Happy to help. By the way, make a post when you decided to purchase! We'd love to hear it in the community!

I actually went with something different for now to scratch the itch. I got a used quartz Swatch chrono with 3 subdials (white) and black dial for 20€ including shipping. I will upload a photo next time I wear it.😀
This, when Escapement Time returns from vacation. Seiko mechaquartz. I have one and it is a definite keeper for me. The blued hands catch the light just so...it's the watch I have to look back at because I forget to check the time. So simple, but every detail is <chef's kiss>. And a bargain price.
So I was not satisfied with th swatch. I am now again on the look for a chrono. This time I decided I want a panda with only two subdials, regardless of the movement.
Any thoughts?
Perhaps this? Or perhaps a Seagull/Seakoss:
The style of the second one is very close to what I am looking for.
