Trying to stick to the plan
Tried on some Oris Big Crown Pointer Dates today, and they were really impressive. I can see this watch replacing my Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic in my box, but I am dedicated to being watch purchase free for the remainder of 2023. I already bought a Speedmaster and received a Seiko ProSpex King Samurai for free.
Next spot in my watch box is being reserved for a Cartier Santos Medium, but I am so tempted!

Sell something else to raise the fund. If it costs only a few dollars more to replace, it doesn't count, does it?

I say Cartier Santos white dial, but I admit the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date is a design that I like a lot but how many nice timepieces can a reasonably mature individual justify owning? The two watches are very different animals, one does not satisfy the itch for the other!
Oris has really been upping their game recently, their watches are now peak imo but their marketing still has a lot of catching up to do
