Hi, im trying to get an affordable new watch, something that is preferably automatic. Any recommendations? (my wrist is not big but I do own a classic g-shock ga100cb1A which fits well so.....)

Depends what your definition of affordable is
You're asking for advice with a MASSIVELY broad search criteria my friend!
You want an automatic (or quartz) watch which isn't too big (but can be).
That's basically all watches under £500 in my mind!
I think you will get more helpful advice if you limit your criteria a little.
Budget? Style (diver, dress etc)? Colour? Better idea of size limitations. Examples of watches you do like/don't like?
🍻
Well, you can slum it with a Rolex, but I wouldn't go THAT affordable unless you want to get laughed at. Patek Philippe has some in their "value" line that are affordable but without incurring ridicule.
In other words, what @SonnyC said.
Also, welcome! 🤝

If you are in the US and ready to purchase something, Macy's is having a flash sale today with 50% off some watches - a 40mm Timex M79 (dive style) automatic for $144.50 (and 38mm Q quartz watches for less than $90), a Seiko Monster for $247.50, and a handwind Timex 38mm field watch for $114.50 are just some of the deals...

Depends on how much you are willing to spend . Grand Seiko is real nice but onces again ... All depends on your budget . I just got a Pagani bat girl for $100 automatic GMT . Real nice watch imo .
Daytona 92 winner edition? Might be a little more than 😂
Depends if you want new or second hand? Like someone mentioned above your search parameters are too wide

haha, thanks for the advice now that I read my post it makes more sense so ill include more details hope it helps:
my budget is- 800USD
my wrist size is, from what I checked (with a string, so not very accurate) it was 7 inches
for color not something to flashy but still noticeable (my g-shock is already too flashy)
I liked the brew metric watch, checked out some seikos.
something that really narrows it down is for the watch to have a sweeping seconds hand, even if its quartz its fine but I love seeing it smooth.
