If I had to pick a favourite Rolex it would be a tough call between the beautiful Datejust (as shown with the better bracelet) and the Polar dial Explorer II. My preference on the Datejust would be the smooth bezel as the fluted one doesn’t turn my crank.

I reckon you’d get more wear with the polar and the brushed metal is more forgiving
It's the only Rolex that I felt I "needed" to have in my collection and it represents to me the image of what to think of when I think of Rolex. Now I have it in Oyster Bracelet to make it a tad less flashy - but the 36mm DJ with blue dial and fluted dial is Rolex to me. It amazing and has few rivals...... darn near perfect.

Clean, classic, dressy but sporty enough for any situation. Definitely up there but not as beautiful as my Starbucks paired with my crocs

It’s absolutely beautiful. I have not been able to see the blue one with my AD… would you say that would look good on women too? I’ve always wondered if the blue would be too masculine.

The DJ with fluted/jubilee is the quintessential Rolex for me. Love that blue dial, though I chose green for myself.
