Which watch to trim from SOTC

I'm looking to trim my collection and along my collection I identified 3 possible candidates. But I'm struggling to see which one to let go... so thought I can get some input from the good people of WC. What do you think guys

I really like GS.. But I also like Zenith.. But if I have to let one go.. It's Zenith, only because of the date window at 4:30.

Two grand Seikos...the blue dial has to stay...voted C

·

I can’t imagine getting rid of a Zenith. So C

This would be a hard decision. I like them all. Usually when I see these polls there are one or two in the collection I really don’t like. But, in you’re case I think all 3 are great. If I had to chose it would be one of the Grand Seikos. Only because you have 2. I picked the SLGH003 to go. But it would be a really tough decision for me.

I just never liked the looks of that Zenith. Well, most Zenith watches.

·

I let go of my zenith as much as I liked it felt small on my wrist …

Also I’m GS fanboi nowadays…

And might be better trade value for the zenith I think than the Gs

·

WC is generally a GS fanclub. Couldnt agree more, myself.

Yeah it is indeed a tough choice. I like all of them but I realise I don't wear them as much

Without knowing all your other watches or background stories (gift?) I see in your WRUW pics, 2 other white dial Grand Seikos... The one you are considering cutting has such a beautiful dial... I am a sucker for not having the gauge to muddy it up....

Yeah. I call my zenith my Geeky watch. The hardware is amazing. The story is compelling. But the overall look and lug kind of make it harder to wear. That just my view

I love GS. Superhard core. I owned snowflakes skyflake but I slowly realise. The cheapest grand seiko being me as much joy as the most expensive one. Case in point sbgx263. I love how beautiful it look or sbgx331. Each of those is cheaper than my sbgy003 by 3 or 4 times. And I wonder why do I get such expensive gs.

My current collection are snxs73j, snkk87, spb239, king seiko first, zenith chrono master, sbgy003, slgh003, sbgh047, san martin sn121.

That 60th anniversary with the new hi-beat has to be a keeper. I tried to get that one but they were already done. But I am happy with the SLGH009.

I'd cut the dress GS.

·

I'd not part with that #zenith personally, but they are beautiful

Cuz you can 😉… taste changes overtime and we realize we appreciate some pieces more no matter their price point…

I get your point. But ya. I'm at the phase where I just like simple cheap watches 😄.

I totally get that!! 💯 also I don’t like the word, “cheap”, it has some bad connotations, I would say inexpensive or even yet affordable 🤣😉

·

Didn't vote because no realistic options in my mind 🤷

·

I voted A only because it looks easiest to buy back either used or new (latest model) as Zenith would likely continue to produce the icon.

·

For me, i would trim a GS unless i just wasn’t feeling the Zenith at all anymore

·

It should be illegal to get rid of that GS.
