One of the all-time Aquis greats is the Oceano Pulito con Umberto Pelizzari. The contrast between the blue and the red, and the dial with the dark to light blue fade is such a good-looking watch.
I dont understand your logic? What is there to improve in your thought process? Is a chronometer certified movement that is -4/+6 seconds a day not "good" enough? With as iconic as the Submariner is you're never going to see sweeping design changes, because you'd be ignoring 70 years of brand recognition and history. Curious for you to elaborate on what you mean by "less improvement".
