All about the Rolex Daytona Beach collection, a rare series of white gold Rolex Daytona watches released in the year 2000.
Here's some Friday Fun - The Daytona "Beach" collection, which is the most early-2000s thing I've seen in a long time. Juicy Couture tracksuits in chronograph form.

These are awesome and very un modern rolex.

What color would you pick?
I think I'd go pink, full-on Paris Hilton.
Thank you Celine for the write up. These Daytona Beach issues looks really great. I was lucky enough to get my black steel variant this summer. Always my first choise. But if I was looking for a fun Daytona the green or the yellow would be up for evaluation.

Congrats on your Daytona pick-up! That's awesome. 🍻
I love exploring the fun side of the Daytona; so many cool variations out there.

Probably baby blue. Pink would be a close second. Green doesn't suit me and bright yellow makes my skin look jaundiced.
Very interesting article...had no idea these existed

Great piece. It is alway fun to go back and look at older pieces and remind people brands experimenting with color has been going on longer than most have been alive. If Rolex made those today with ceramic bezels and matching colored oysterflex, they would be massively popular.
TBH the yellow has more potential than the other colors, it will match with summer dress more readily than green and blue.

Yep, colorful watches have always been a thing - they come and go. Remember the Omega Schumacher Speedmasters?!

It is funny you mention those, I always keep an eye on that red one.
