I wore a DateJust with a jubilee and fluted bezel a few days ago. I thought I would own one. Man, I couldn’t get over the fact how incredibly boring it was for $7,000+. Like I felt dead when I wore it. 😂 I’d probably have more fun with other watches in the same price range or less.
I don’t dislike the logo totally, but I would leave the seal behind and take out the word “Orient” entirely.
I could careless. It’s not like I’m going to eat it. Vegan leather in this case is marketing to those wanting to “save the planet”. Real leather also lasts longer if properly maintained. I can see some companies would do a solar powered watch with vegan leather to maintain that “eco-friendly” motif.
For me it’s the too much literature on the dial like who needs to know “26 Jewels,” “Sapphire,” “Diashock” and etc. Why not put that on the caseback? Also watches that are too large 43mm and up for daily use unless they have an actual purpose like large pilot’s watches or a big diver.
