Sketchy people wear lots of brands... I wouldn't give it a second thought. Nobody will think you're a spy just because of the watch brand you wear.

I've never taken note of that model before, but I quite like it.

We need to learn why Breitling has so much hate. My extended family loves the brand, loyal clients for decades and decades, my daughter rocks one of my old Chronomats, my niece wears her adored dad’s 1989 gold and steel C with love and joy, her mom owns a quartz lady’s Chronomat, bullet bracelet, I had to surrender my PVD Avenger Blackbird to my son in law when he accepted a grown up position in finance his stash of G shocks did cut it with his wife. None of us are bad people, lol. I did meet a sketchy gent wearing a James Cameron Sea Dweller the last time I was at the Breitling HO to pick up a watch brought in for servicing. I do recall a former client who wore a Breitling Bentley iteration despite driving a Porsche who had the personality of an amoeba! The Bentley was parked at his home.

I have not connected emotionally with any of the new Breitling models introduced since Georges Kern became CEO but finally noticed a new 46mm black ceramic IN HOUSE movement GMT model that could be a last sentimental purchase for me but might be only available from Breitling’s own boutiques eliminating even a small courtesy discount from my regular ad.

Lol..but the author even states in the article his Breitling got him into watches.

In all honesty, the article was poking fun a little bit for those that don't follow any of his stuff. His main point being they are good tool watches you can use and abuse.

Also outside of the Tudor Pelagos, a multitude of Seiko SKX's, the ever ubiquitous G-Shocks/Protreks, I've seen a lot of Breitlings in the wild. Especially amongst the UK and weirdly Middle East servicemen.

I'd take their Arabic dial or a Aerospace (PVD) any day.

Granted I'm sketchy-af..... 😂.

I am an unabashed Breitling Stan, so I'm as sketchy as one can get. I unfortunately don't own a Breitling yet.

Before I got my first Breitling I feel like I fell victim to a lot of the stereotypes out there and it kept me from buying at first. After trying a few models in hand and on wrist…opinion changed completely!! Sad I let the stereotypes get to me for so long.

Wear what you like and wear it proudly! Breitling makes a killer watch!!
