Watches and friends go hand in hand
My best friend got married this weekend and before all of that even occurred, a goal of mine for him was to get a watch for him to wear on his special day! I went for the Citizen Tsuyosa and decided to get one for myself because we could then be watch buddies. 40mm isn't bad at all on paper, but in practice...big yikes.
Once I received the watched, not only was it big on me, but it was massive on my friend. Sold those (got them from Italy. No way was I going to deal with returning those) and I went with a Tissot PRX because not only would it fit him, but it also fits his ring's colors (silver and rose gold). Because of this though, my idea of being watch buddies fell through because I'm personally not too big of a fan of that color scheme. C'est la vie.
However last Wednesday, he surprised me with a Brew Metric PVD Black and I was dumbstruck. Didn't know what to say. So yeah...things ended up working out in the end. Even though we have different watches, both are linked to a very special moment in our lives.

(P.S: I know all I've been talking about is this dang Brew watch, but I'm still blown away that he got it for me. I am incredibly grateful and I don't know when I'll stop talking about it 😅)

Oh goodness no. It's a 36mm. It fits wonderfully. I'm wearing it loose so maybe that's why.
