There's this one particular Vostok model I really like, but I cannot find it anywhere other than the Amazon listing. The model number is 170378 and it's an orange dial Amphibian.
Is this a fake or no?

IMO: You should be ok to buy it off amazon…
What vitangefan said; it’s highly unlikely the watch is fake. Vostok make a ton of dial, case, and bezel combinations. With the war, we don’t have access to as many options as we once had.
But, geez, they’ve gotten expensive. (Again, the war.) I like and own Vostok watches, but I wouldn’t spend that much on one. They are supposed to be fun, CHEAP watches.

A lot of them are cheaper. I just liked the dial on this one
Interesting. I do not find that case and dial combo (or even that dial) on the Meranom site or Vostok factory site.
However, the devil is in the detail on the Amazon page:
"Luminous hands and dots. The watch assembled for US sales by Sputnik TM technology."
I suppose if some retailer wants enough of a certain combo made, the factory is obliging. The Vostok dial department seems pretty agile in this respect.
