Been wanting to get a smaller watch for a minute now, especially since the industry is heading in that direction. However, most of the newer, smaller watches are by the luxury brands (that I've seen at least).
Anyone know any budget smaller offerings?

What’s your budget and what is smaller?

Under 40mm would be considered smaller for me, as I have a 7" wrist and have only 40mm and up watches.
As for budget, under $500 would be nice.

I respectfully disagree that most of the newer, smaller watches are by the luxury brands. It's quite the opposite actually. Roughly 80% of my watches are less than 40mm in diameter. None came from a luxury brand and most are very affordable.
You might take a look at the Islander Manhasset. It is a 36mm option for a good GADA watch under $300.
So long as your okay with quartz there’s a few different alternatives such as the Certina DS Caimari at 39mm
As someone else said you can get a manual wind Hamilton Khaki mechanical at 38mm
Or if you want an automatic I’d look to Microbrands such as Boldr who have the Venture line at 38mm under your budget.
It would help to know what type of watch you’re after: diver, field, dress etc, but hopefully that’ll get you started.
