Hamilton Khaki Field Auto or…

So I was checking out the Hamilton in my local watch shop and I thought this looks amazing… but I’m trying to save up for a Blackbay 58 (Still far long before I can afford that)… So should I get this first? My current only watch is a Seiko 5 (SRPD51)

I think a lot of us have been there, having our eye on something that will take a while to save for, whilst being distracted by something along the way.

I’m saving up for a BB GMT and have made a few detours along the way.

For me I think a detour is ok as long as it not the same type of watch you’re striving for.

In this instance they are very different,  so if you don’t mind waiting a bit longer for the BB58, then go for it.

Hamilton make excellent watches and I have a few of them myself, so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Ultimately though, the feeling you get when you eventually do buy that piece you’ve been striving for will be well worth the wait.

I’m with @AussieWatchGuy they’re different enough that you could have both. I’ve also got a Hamilton Khaki Automatic. Mine’s in black pvd coated titanium and I love it.

Go for it! Just one little piece of advice as a former Hamilton Khaki owner (chronograph version). There is a lot of flecto on the crystal. That really bothered me about the watch, but maybe you are fine with that, in that case, enjoy it! It's a very good piece 😉

Don't go for impulsive purchases.

Put the Hamilton on your List. Check out some Video Reviews. Wait. Check some Video Reviews again. Wait. And if you still want it after 3 Months, go for it.

The Khaki is such a classic piece 👌 But, you should keep your eyes on the price..

However, you could get a second hand Khaki and sell it again when you are getting close with little to no loss?

I'm actually planning to purchase it alongside with a friend and the deal I'm getting for this particular one is about USD 420 (After conversion from RM)

I actually wanted a Hamilton Khaki before I got my Seiko, but I decided to go for Seiko because I wasn't comfortable spending this amount of money at the time!

excellent. then it's not an impulsive purchase.

From what I see you wanted this watch for a while and your getting it for a good price so i say buy the Khaki.

In my opinion the Khaki looks better 😉

If your goal is the BB58. Then go for it and don‘t choose a good alternative in between.

·

It’s weird thing for me to say, wait for the BB58,… you will look at the Hamilton all the time and say, damn I wish I just saved and waited for the BB58… just my opinion though…. Both are good looking pieces just don’t settle…

Buy the Khaki, you love it and wanted it before the Seiko you have.bprice see ms good. Life is short and if the Tudor is meant to be then it will happen when the time is correct.

Buy it, buy it now!

These are the watches you've been looking for!⌚

BB58 is done. Hamilton never goes out of style.
