After the hype, does love continue?

Although this watch isn’t vintage, I still love it. I bought it two years ago after the hype had settled down some, but still going strong.

I love the quasi monochromatic look of the flat blue and SS combo.

Do I still love it? Yes indeed I do. Definitely a keeper.

It runs perfectly and has excellent wearability and style. And the lume is great as well.

Any other BB58 lovers out there?

Look at that baby! The BB58 is definitely an awesome watch, can’t believe the amount of watch you get with half the price of a Rolex. And among all the new releases from Tudor, still think the sizing and proportions are top notch(yet expecting the bracelet to be updated this year!) Let’s see!

Maaaan I love mine , she was my introduction into luxury watches and oh boy do I miss her… I would never think about it selling this beauty but she has been in the Tudor repair center for a while because of a damn chip in the crystal which could’ve become deadly for my little diver if I hadn’t gone to let it be repaired because I take this think into water and everything. (Marked the little chip which was at its smallest on this picture) but I never thought I could miss something “materialistic” but hey we’re all on this site because we’ve grown past our watches being only watches but because they’re our little buddies. ✌🏻

You are so right about our attachments to our watches.

Biiiiig bb58 lover here. I do sometimes wonder if I’d prefer the pelagos 39 but then I fall right back in love with this piece . I lose myself in her blue eyes.

Gotta ask, I have a chip in mine as well. Had it pressure tested and passed easily. Where did you send it and what did they charge?

The crystal on both my tudors have a small chip. My beaters with non sapphire have zero marks. Not convinced they are the best of quality crystals on Tudors 😞

I went to WEMPE which is a jeweler/ AD for a lot of companies like Rolex Tudor etc. but since I didn’t buy it there they had to send it to the Tudor repair center. All in all I’m in for 255 euros for everything including part piece, WR testing and labor.

Yes that’s also what I think because my “affordable” watches with sapphire have also never had any problem with their sapphires and I’ve treated them a lot harsher then I treated this

Wow! Quite pricy for a piece of glass haha. I’ll probably live with mine until it’s due for a service but it keeps -1 a day after 3 years. Might be a while 😂

The part piece is actually only about 89 euros I got told from my friend at wempe, the rest is labor and Water resistance testing. TBH I thought it would be a lot more

It might not be my favorite watch in my collection but it does get a lot of not the majority of wrist time. Great specs, goes with anything. It’s my GADA. If Tudor put a date window on it, it could be the perfect 1 watch collection in my opinion.

I love NOT having a date on it! That’s the great thing about watches. There is room for everybody!

BB58 Blue is awesome. Overall size/thickness, accuracy, symmetry, bezel action, rose crown, simplicity are some of their atributes. This watch clarifies that less is more.

Bought my BB58 3 years ago and still love it, definitely a keeper! Still looks fantastic and running at around +1/2 seconds a day.

I like the general look of the bb58 line up but man, there's something about the blue 58 that makes it look so much nicer than any of the other ones in my eyes. It's just so clean.

That’s exactly how I feel. That blue is just so vibrant, but not too much!

Wish they sold the crystal by itself so I could have my local independent replace it….

Yes that would be really good because you could help your local watchmaker and it would be cheaper

Update : got my watch back and it’s immaculate but that’s how it should be if I pay 245 euros for a sapphire crystal change 🤣 but yeah the guy gave me a 10 euro discount because it took so long so yeah nice of Him

I was a bit reluctant to give it away because I just didn’t feel good about sending my couple thousand euro watch away but the guy at wempe made me feel really good about it and told me that he understood that it feels weird but he assured me that nothing would happen and If they would take care of me. And when he opened the matte finish see through envelope that the watch was in all the emotion just flooded in oh my oh my how I’ve missed this watch
