People Thoughts Please🇨🇭🩶

It was a solid NO from everyone to keep the GMT🖤💚and two tone Daytona🖤💛 in my previous post and not trade for the yellow gold Daytona. THANK YOU to everyone who commented.

Now another question - what do people think of this AP Dual Time 39mm ref 26120ST🇨🇭 I’m not one who usually asks for people’s opinions but in this case would like to hear what fellow whatch enthusiasts think about this model. Thanks in adavnce.

Again, if I were to acquire this piece I think the GMT 116710LN would have to move on. The Daytona is staying.

I use to like the AP Royal Oak and PP Nautilus designs. Now in my humble opinion, they're TRASH 🤮 It seems they're trying too hard 🤣😂

Ouch… I personally love the Royal Oak design - pretty much any dial design works in this timeless case design. I’m biast as it’s probably my favourite brand🇨🇭

·

Not for me. Never saw a modern AP I would want in the collection.

·

I like it! 39mm is a great size for the royal oak, and the subdials give the watch a sophisticated look.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder brother! Do you ... Rock what you LOVE ... Buy what you can afford! That GMT wouldn't leave my collection though. You'll miss it once it's gone TRUST! Stay Thirsty My Man 🍻👊🏽

PS: I just saw your collection. I understand why that GMT would leave 🤙🏽

Hi mate, it’s an awesome piece and I do like it but just tossing up the AP dual time… lots to think about…

·

I’d be happy to lose that GMT for the AP. If it was a Pepsi then it would be a lot more difficult.

Hate it with a passion. GG's 70's designs just leave me cold. Ugly and certainly doesn't look like a premium watch, more AliExpress (maybe because it's been homaged so much)

For the price, there's far classier watches out there , but we all have different tastes.

If it really floats your boat then get it & sod what a load of strangers on the internet think. Buy what you love & love what you buy! 😉👍🏻

Thanks Steve - I’m asking because I too am in two minds - I love the Royal Oak and in particular the Chrono - this dial I’m just not sure about… and size…

·

AP all the way man

Rolex and AP are in different league.

It's a lot of money on something you're not in love with. Keep the money until something turns up that absolutely grabs you and you can't stop thinking about it. Or at least try this on in the flesh if you can, then you'll know for sure.

Good luck mate 👍🏻👍🏻

·

AP is boring the Royal Oak is long in the tooth,I thought Rolex was Stodgy. Genta designs were awesome 20 years ago.

·

I love AP RO but this one is a bit off, the symetry on the dial is weird. Also poor visibility of hands, don't like it overall, many better looking RO out there

·

I feel that dial is a little unbalanced, but quirky is cool 😎

·

I think it's beautiful

·

Love the royal oak design

You are 💯correct - need to try it on and see how it looks in person… not every watch that looks great in a pic works on the wrist

Me too❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I had the same feeling - I’m not into symmetry and really like the Patek 5712 and its dial layout - this one might have a bit too much going on…

·

Love the Royal Oak. Just because the hype for integrated bracelets has come and I guess now on the down slide, it says nothing about the RO. It was cool way before the hype and will be long after. Even though it’s a dual time and maybe redundant to your collection I’d keep the 50th Anniversary GMT and lose the Daytona. I’m partial to GMT’s so I am biased.

Absolutely - I'd maybe love it if I saw it on my wrist 👍🏻👍🏻

·

39mm is the best size for the RO…wears like a 38mm round watch. I’m personally a big fan

I’ve always worn slightly larger watches so would need to see how this one fits on the wrist - and you are correct that Royal Oak wears about 1 or 2mm larger than a normal round watch same size case

·

I’d keep the GMT, the RO works, but for that style of watch, this example seems just too busy. IMHO…

·

I’d keep the GMT and I would say go ahead and purchase the #audemarspiguet Dual Time 39mm ref 26120ST I love it! It’s an RO but the dual time feature gives the watch that slight touch of uniqueness
