Stop me from buying the Mido Multifort Patrimony!

In looking for good reasons NOT to buy this watch and the only one I found is that it uses the same movement as my Hamilton Kaki Field Auto...

I'm looking for help to find more!

Can you stop me please? 😬

I will be the enabler and say do it! Its a nice dial and Mido is an under rated brand.

In the interest of trying to help you resist:

1) there are numbers over the 6 which can only lead to confusion.

2) your link appears to be in Italian. If you don't speak Italian (who speaks Italian anymore) then the instruction manual may be unreadable.

3) the pulse meter insert while interesting, may cause confusion in reading the time.

4) if your married, the watch may cause your spouse grief as the attention this watch may cause members of the opposite sex may generate can only cause marital discord.

5) if your not married, you may become exhausted from chasing off new suitors.

6) this watch appears to be a 5 ATM rated watch. Fear of going 5.1 ATM may cause sleepless nights.

7) this watch appears to contain an attractive dial, maybe too attractive. Are you good looking enough to not be overshadowed?

8) That watch looks woke. We can't support that can we?

9) it's a known fact that Swiss watches are connected with Switzerland. Do you want That?

10) your children might hasten your death to inherit that gem!

For those reasons, Just Say No!

Get it unless you want to change straps. 19mm lug width won't fit with your strap collection.

·

Stop. Don’t do it.

Nice watch. It’s a killer movement so wouldn’t obsess on that point. Do you truly need a dress watch? Perhaps look outside the Swatch family for one? Your price point gives you many options. Best of luck.

Best reason ever

Have you ever read something and hear the sarcasm in your head as you read it?

Not exactly. This would give you a reason to now buy 19mm straps.

Oops, forgot he needs reasons not to buy it.

The dial has an ugly sunburst color and is asymmetric. There is a date window. 😱 The lugs are thin and short. The hour hand is too short, the minute hand is too long. BTW, are you a doctor? Buy it!! 😜🤪

·

The name is stupid. Patrimony? That is something inherited from one's father. You are looking to purchase for yourself! Don't support this lie!

The pulse complication is foolish. Even if you have some heart rate obsession, there are better ways.

Automatic with a date? Great, hope you like noisy inconvenient watch winders or setting the stupid date all the time.

40 x 12mm? Why so big? This isn't a dive watch. And lastly, the lug width is obnoxious and they appear to ship it with one of those funny bands stitched crudely with dental floss by kids at summer camp. No, lastly the crystal is flat.

Powermatic

I think it is a bit “meh”, and for €899 it seems like it’s a stop-gap for something a little nicer.

If you saved up a little more you could get a Cuervo y Sobrinos Historiador, which are infinitely more classy as a watch option.

Beautiful watch…. But… It’ll be $400 on JomaShop before you know it.

That’s exactly how I was thinking it. 😆

If you do it...you'll feel like this guy...

Well it's a powermatic 80 ( plastic parts in movement, unserviceable) that'd be enough to put me off!!

  • Lug width

  • Pointless complication

  • Far better alternatives out there for the money....

In sorry to say it's the powermatic version with 25 jewels, so no plastic parts...

Theres a thousand reasons not to buy it,,and only one to buy.

So what you gonna do

·

I noticed the watch is currently displayed in your wrist shots. No one could convince you not to buy? Any regrets?
