Do you have a box for your collection?

I have noticed most of your collections are stored in a special box for that purpose. In my case, y keep my watches in their original boxes.

Glass topped watch box , eBay cheapie, so I can admire my lovely watches at all times 😁👍🏻

For me it’s easier to access when stored in one box … instead of opening 3 boxes to get to one watch …

🤪 I like opening 3 boxes to get the watch I chose for the day

A little of both, i would say...

Having a selection of boxes wouldn't go down well with the Mrs, and I think having a dozen would do my head in. It's much easier to have them all visible for selection in glass topped boxes.

·

The original boxes are kept in a warehouse the same day they are purchased.

·

Easy to pull a watch from my 4 twelve slot watch boxes with glass tops.

·

I always keep the original boxes stored away for the inevitable gift/sell off. Have a box in my safe for storage while on vacation for more valuable models. Otherwise, all are out in my watch boxes/winders.

I am part of option C I have a box for my boxes and a shoe box for my watches as I haven't got around to buying an actual watch box yet.

Using the original boxes becomes spatially problematic very quickly. Also, the assorted box styles look chaotic. I’ll add a pic of the box I keep my budget collection in, and at 8 pieces try to imagine the comparison of this versus 8 different boxes on my dresser.

I have a number of boxes and two watch rolls but half my watches are in draws, on bedside tables and under the sofa. (I hope) 🥺

Is this a Tawdry Box? If so I have the 12 slot version - pretty good quality for a reasonable price.

For me it's a 5 watch box and a 2 watch winder (that I don't use to wind but it displays 2 of my favourite watches nicely) and my travel pod on my bedside table so at night I don't have to muck about putting things away before bed. But I keep all my boxes out sort of on display. Makes sense to me 😅

I have a Seiko/Honda collab watch that lives in it's original box, but all my others stay in 1 central watch box. I typically don't have more than 10 watches at a time and that's what the watchbox holds. Makes it real easy to grab and go in the morning.

Yes, really great for the price.

Which Seiko/Honda collab did you get? I have one also, and really like it.

I have this exact model! Very cool watch.

My wife gave me one for my birthday. It holds 10 watches. Before that, I put them in a cigar box.

·

I have 12 slot watch cases and the original boxes (that I actually kept) are in a brown paper shopping bag in the closet.

Mine is similar; 10 slot glass top box with valet drawer for accessories (bracelets and straps). The original boxes are kept on the top shelf in my closet, out of the way.

·

Original boxes. The only way to go for me, as i apreciate seeing the complete set. Though there is none whatsoever place left in imperial space, all our visitors get when they come across my watch- cupboard.

·

I leave mine on a dresser in my office, on top of a felt flag type of thing. When I leave for any meaningful length of time I put them in pants and coat pockets lol. Once lost my tank for like three months due to exceptional hiding. Maybe I should get a box 😅

·

You shouldn’t use your original boxes and put all that wear and tear on them. Watch boxes are fairly inexpensive on Amazon. Much much more convenient to keep them in a larger box . Once you buy one and start using it, you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner!!!

Seriously just laying around on bookshelves and I pick them up and move them around occasionally walking around looking at them and setting them down somewhere else.
