Thank you! I’m no Seiko expert but in parallell with my SARB033 there was the SARB017.

Absolutely agree! Different watch altogether but I feel this way about the MM300 : movement is former GS , Zaratsu finish etc. GS without GS logo (this statement I hijacked from @SurferJohn ) I will say I miss my Snowflake. The watch is a lot like your style of classic Omega dress watches in a feather light high polish Titanium finish and Spring Drive. IMO junk the bracelet (sadly) and go rubber strap 💥 Very elegant and yet a GADA . I'll probably buy another soon . Pre-owned great pricing . The dial texture is subtle: something now lost with all the new GS dials. This was mine

”Your” Snowflake looked great. As you say, the style is in line with my preference👍 I guess there will be a GS for me in the future and it will be a Spring Drive.
It’s all Taro Tanaka “Grammar of Design” inspired. Since we already discussed how important design is there is no surprise the SARB is so well liked. You get Taro Tankaka galore in a lot of Seiko products, not just the uber expensive stuff.

Tackar! Jo, metallbandet ligger kvar i kartongen med tejpen kvar. Läder, eller mocka, blir avsevärt bättre!
My gateway watch some years back. A stunner. And, to your point, led me eventually to a Grand Seiko.
