Microbrand dress watch advice?

Hi all, I am interested in adding a dress watch to my small collection. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be many options for a classy dress watch in an affordable price bracket. Most microbrands I’ve come across tend to focus on divers, field watches or pilots watches. Any suggestions for a Microbrand offering a dress watch with an automatic movement? If I had the money (I don’t!) I would buy a JLC master control, a grand Seiko or H. Moser & cie….looking for something In that style. My budget is $2000 usd or less. Much appreciated.

No experience with any of these brands, but think these are all pretty interesting options to add to @Unholy

+1 on the MR01 too! So here are my submissions, Baltic, Lorier and Smiths… however… do they have to be micros? Non micros I can think of Junghans, vintage Seikos… good luck hunting.

This is a lot like the JLC, however I am not sure if you are into two-tone, and it is slightly above your budget.

Nice collection! Opinions on Traska vs Lorier IRL?

Something a little more mainstream and something that I own and love is the Orient Contemporary II ref. RA-AR0003B10B. It’s a somewhat cheap automatic dress watch. I got mine for somewhere around $230 i think. I’ve had mine for a little while and I absolutely love it. Definitely worth a look.

The Zelos Nova is currently sold out, but if they release another batch of them, it may be worth looking into.

If you are down for a rectangular watch with Art Deco inspiration you could try Longines Dolce Vita or Baume et Mercier Hampton. Both quality affordable watches that can be had with discounts.
