Are you excited about the new GM-B2100 series Casioaks?

So for quite a while now the Casioak in it’s many forms has been a thing. There have been numerous metal conversion kits available and lots of folks have asked the eternal question, “when are we going to get an official full metal version?”
Well now the Full Metal version is finally here.
The only all steel G-Shock I own is the AWM-500D-1A8ER and I have to say imho the finishing and overall feel of this watch is great. I was lucky enough to get it half-price but the full retail doesn’t seem too excessive to me based on the quality.
So if the quality of this new Casioak is on par with my 500D which I reckon it will be, is this new release reasonably priced or not? And will you be getting one?

Sensible answer, they are certainly not cheap; and bargains can be had later on e.g. my half price 500D 😉

We’ll have to see how long it takes my experience with them is that the prices drop quite quickly but if it takes too long my self restraint is liable to fly out the window.
There might be some really cool editions of that watch in the near future, maybe I'll jump on one of those if I see it for a good deal. But I still really want an all metal square.

I’ve had my eye on the all metal steel colour square for a while now; but this release distracted me from it 😉
I‘ll be keeping my eye out for a deal on that when I’ve recovered financially from this purchase

I think that the full metal G’s are the ultimate anti mugging weapon, I imagine wearing one of these during an attempted mugging and windmilling my arm around very fast in the hope of whacking the guy in the face hahahah

Indeed! In a tight corner that steel bezel could prove most effective 😉😂🍻
