A new addition, an octopus kraken 007 tribute diver, while I'm continuing to save for my omega speedmaster grail I came across this beautiful seamaster homage which all reviews I read were positive, while there are , many other brands and options what drew me to this one was the functional helium escape valve which the seamaster has vs a non functional prop, the watch uses a PT5000 movement which has a reputation for reliability and accuracy and it feels great on the wrist, my only knock is the bracelet which feels fine in quality just difficult to adjust to my liking so I will be ordering a proper steel bracelet
One of a few reasons I got in to collecting watches is my favorite movie series and characters, I have been a James Bond fan since my childhood and while of course all fall short of the OG Shawn Connery in my humble opinion Pierce Brosnan is the most underrated Bond in the franchise, make no mistake they all have strengths and weaknesses and I will do my best not to sound biased as I was a 90s kid who grew up with Brosnan Bond and playing hours of goldeneye on my N64 I feel Brosnan captured the true essence of Bond in the sense he was the perfect secret agent he was a soft spoken gentleman who was still dedicated and displayed exceptional strength and wit and of course delivered some of the best one liners in the franchise and as well all know every Bond had a taste for exceptional watches, so who was your favorite and why?

Roger Moore
Roger Moore
Absolute legend, good choice ๐
Iโm with you on Brosnan, heโs def my Bond
Sean by far, then Craig.
Congratulations on the watch. It is a good looking one.
As a kid in the 90s yeah also biased towards Brosnan. Thereโs just something about his โBritish Classโ with a dash of A-hole personality that I just find fits the role. Granted the movies are probably a bit campy, but it just fits the period. ๐ฌ๐ง
Roger Moore, liked the Birds, Gadgets and lack of wokeness.
Brosnan was excellent, probably the most Bond on screen ,tho love the fact Lazenby let the role go to his head and became a womanising alcoholic in real life ๐คฃ
Here's my "almost" a Bond watch - I call it No Time To Spectre ๐คฃ๐คฃ

My Man! Thank you!๐ค๐ค
Sean by far, then Craig.
I do like Daniel Craig my only knock with with him was he's more of a brute but e still does well, thank you
Congratulations on the watch. It is a good looking one.
Thank you I can't wait to see how the new bracelet looks on it, hopefully next week

Agreed he was definitely perfect for the 90s and played the role well
I rate them as: Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton, George Lazenbe, Roger Moore, and Daniel Craig.

Lol yes I'm not a fan of the direction the franchise is going, when I heard one of the upcoming films is supposed to have James riding on the back of a motorcycle with a woman driving I was like wtf! Which is why I love the classics even more and my new aquatico is another homage Bond wore I'll be posting next week!

Couldn't agree more Thank you !
Daniel Craig for me, and his Semaster in Casino Royal is my favorite diver in the series.
Every time I searched for a seamaster homage that's the first one that popped up and octopus has one
I prefer the US version.
Can't go wrong
IYKYK...
Doesn't get much more classic
Brosnan, who else? ๐
Nailed it!
Very true they all brought something to the table and gave the character a unique vibe for that era
I have this watch on Black. The quality is shockingly good. The bezel action, the winding. The manufacturing tolerances are amazing. I was rather shocked by this Chinese brand.
Same here its a very well made watch that punches well above it's weight and I can't wait to see how the bracelet feels on it
Purist may favor Sean Connery, but I grew up with Roger Moore. Will never forget the scene when he cut the ropes over the shark tank with his rotory saw Submariner bezel!!๐

He was a smooth Bond for sure he played the character well and one of my favorite gadget moments was when he cut a hole in the floor of the train with his omega watch laser and escaped in goldeneye haha

Absolutely awesome!!
Musta had one hell of a battery in that thing!!๐ค๐๐
He hit it out of the park and thank you I know Bond's was blue but I love the look of stainless and it's smooth as butter ๐ง
You made the right choice ๐
Best Bond for me was Roger he left you wanting Moore ๐

There's a reason they kept him as Bond for as long as they did
Definitely Sean Connery first.
Dr No was the first adult movie I saw alone in the theater 1965.๐ Small town where kids were safe.
It was the era of anti heroes ๐ The Man With No Name.๐๐
I know that my parents had no idea what the contents of the Sergio Leone movies were.
Then the David Lean epics.๐น๐น๐น
I enjoy Daniel Craig most of the others who portrayed Bond.

Oh man that had to be something else and makes me feel I was definitely born too late, Connery is absolutely the definition of Bond and truly brought him to life
