Which Rolex?

I can understand the Sub being popular but I'm surprised the Explorer 1 is more popular than the 2 🤔

But you can't even tell if it's day or night when you're spelunking with the Explorer 1 🤯

I suppose the Explorer 1 is ok if you want to be 2nd up a mountain.....

Well, Explorer II is the most costly of the three so I guess that could also be the reason why it's coming last...

But you won’t regret buying any of them. If you intend to dress up, Explorer would be the safest choice, I guess.

You’re asking the wrong crowd. This app will pick the explorer 1. Great watch. Clean design. I want one.

But if this is your first…and I assume based on the fact that you can’t decide, it’s because you (and let’s be honest) just want a “Rolex” (vs you want a good dive watch, gmt, etc), then get the Sub. It’s iconic and frankly everyone and your grandma will know it’s a Rolex on your wrist (even from far away). None of the others will scratch your Rolex itch like it will

If money were the main concern, get an OP with a white or black dial and call it a day. But it’s not (clearly), the real concern is having the Rolex people recognize. Sub it is.

Of the three I guess I'd say the Explorer, but when presented with similar choices for my first Rolex I chose the black Explorer II and even years later I could not be happier with my choice.

But, but, but if you've been underground for a few days......

Do not waste your time…you have to wait years and by the time the AD call you, your priorities will be in a totally different front.

Ten years ago I bought my first Rolex and it was a sub w/ date. Sold it a year later. My second Rolex was an Explorer 1 that I bought March of 23’ and I will keep it forever.

Depends on which E1… but I’m on the list for an E2.

There is only one Rolex I would consider, a Milgauss.

Sub would be my first. Not that you are thinking this way but would be real easy to convert to cash in a pinch😀
