New Strap for a new watch :)

A week ago or so, I acquired a new watch which i shared in one of the posts here. I like how it look but thought i jazz it up a little before putting it on my wrist.

I did a little mock up in Photoshop to see how the grey dial will go with a green strap. I like it but usually reality and vision don't really match, but I took a leap of faith and got it custom made.

Now it looks absolutely beautiful! So happy with it and I've been wearing it daily eve since i put on the new strap.

Honest question - why did you picture the watch in the shoe? Is this something you do regularly  when storing your watch during your day to day life? I am thankful though you have not used a picture of the watch in a sack of coffee beans, or sitting on a rock by the coast as the waves start crashing in, so I am happy that you’ve kept it relatively realistic and safe for the watch. Also, hang up your jacket, it will crease.

thats really beautiful 🙏🏻. great shot too

I think that watch can take any color strap. Your choice was correct. But black, red, orange, blue, even yellow, would have all been correct.

I am laughing at your choice of setting (the shoes). I am not sure if I am laughing with you or at you. I am hoping that this is a whimsical visual joke.

Well the shoes thing came about when I saw how it was presented in the Vacheron Constantin catalog

Yes it’s something I do everyday after coming home putting watch in shoes for safekeeping

Well that is a new one on me. VC also did it in their catalogue, how bizarre.

I think it’s a great strap combination and great photo! Also nice pair of shoes - to be honest I prefer the the shoe shot to the diamond flatlay. 🔥🔥🔥

·

Thank you. I was getting bored of the diamond flatlay composition yet I wasn’t too sure about the shoe shot as some has pointed out it’s bizarre.

I’m glad it turned out alright.

You (and VC) have inspired me to try other random scenarios for my future watch pics (and in no way are they as well-shot as yours, and this is a respectful homage).

It had been a busy day, I needed to unwind.
