Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Not a "collector", just a long-time watch fan. I've always worn a watch, replacing if broken, a refresh needed or gifted. Just like shoes/coats, more an accumulation of things than a collection. Here to admire the wonderful watches and eclectic collections on show.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Mickey Mouse watch gifted as child. First chosen watch, Timex Illusion.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
If you are going to buy something, always give it some time for consideration. You are never missing out by not owning something.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Brands with a greater focus on dial/case/bracelet design, than accuracy/movement/value.
